UPDATED 6/22/21:  How exciting for California to be RE-OPENING!  This will mean that masks will be the only legal restrictions to attend an Open House; there will be nothing to sign for buyers.  A relief for all parties, for sure.  The housing market also continues to be exciting.  Homes come on/off the market quickly, and many have multiple offers; this is now taking place in the “over 55” segment.

This BLOG is focusing on re-sale homes at Summerset & Trilogy Vineyards.   Both communities offer buyers a gated community, with many choices in sizes/features in single-story homes.  These homes are located in the city of Brentwood. (50 miles East of San Francisco).  Brentwood is known for corn/agriculture, easy access to medical, proximity to shopping/restaurants, and access to BART!

Summerset is the oldest of the two communities, built from 1994-2005.   Summerset has 26+ floor plans & over 2,000 homes, with the 27-hole Brentwood Golf Club running throughout the communities.  Summerset has 4 gated communities; each community offers bocce/tennis courts, a swimming pool/spa, clubhouse and various monthly activities.  Here is a link to current available Summerset homes. Trilogy Vineyards homes had their first residents move in 2006. These beautiful homes are still being constructed; when completed, the community will number around 1100 homes.   Trilogy Vineyards is centered around a resort lifestyle, bordered by grapevines & olive trees. Home sizes range from 1460-3000+ square feet.  The many gated villages surround Club Los Meganos (the main clubhouse, restaurant, spa & tennis/bocce courts).  Building your own dream is a great experience; however, you can usually purchase another’s dream home, and save yourself money & frustration with a re-sale home purchase.   Click for TRILOGY VINEYARD Listings
