SUMMERSET…

The original “Over 55” community in Brentwood is SUMMERSET! My name is Elaine King, and I am a realtor who specializes in the “Over 55” market. I personally live in Summerset, and I am familiar with the housing options available.

SUMMERSET consists of 2000+ homes, located in 4 different communities, offering 37 different models, and a home for everyone’s price point; prices start at $425K. All homes are single-story, with 2 bedrooms and a garage; dens are offered in homes larger than 1500 sq. ft. Built from 1994-2005, each Summerset offers diverse activities and amenities: clubhouse with workout room, pool, and hot tub. Tennis & bocce courts are also available. Once you reside in one SUMMERSET community, you can partake of activities in all Summerset communities. Current HOA fees range from $95-$155/month, depending on the community.

In SUMMERSET, you will meet neighbors who are at the same point in their lives. You can join in many clubs, events, trips, or choose to relax & enjoy life on your own schedule. Brentwood has a library, a variety of local shopping, downtown restaurants, and 2 major medical facilities: John Muir Medical Center & Kaiser Hospital in Antioch.

TRILOGY VINEYARDS…

TRILOGY VINEYARDS is a true resort-living experience! The 34,000 sq. ft. Club Los Meganos was designed by award-winning architects and situated 200 feet above the community; offering views of Mt Diablo. This club features full concierge service, a restaurant (only available to residents), a day spa, culinary studio, Delta Athletic Club, Jr Olympic size pool, outdoor resort pool with private cabanas, tennis pavilion, bocce courts, and outdoor living-room areas to enjoy. Current HOA dues are $346/month.

These homes, range from 1,460–3,000 sq. ft., and offer a variety of architectural designs. Solar power generation was offered on homes built after 2012, for energy efficiency. All homes in the Bordeaux Village feature the signature Carl Legoni 18’ ceilings in the main living areas. There are still lots available to build your own dream home. Another option is purchasing another’s dream! A re-sale home usually saves the buyer both money and the frustration of choosing options. When completed, this community will have +/- 1050 homes, scattered throughout its numerous villages.

TRILOGY VINEYARDS offers its members a monthly schedule of events, outings, clubs, gatherings, and trips. When you drive away from your home/community, you will not be far from 2 major medical facilities: John Muir Medical & Kaiser Hospital in Antioch. A local farmer’s market, shopping, library, walking trail, restaurants, and BART are also short drives.

OTHER “55 +” COMMUNITIES...

BARCELONA, a Shea Community, features a collection of duplex homes. This duplex community gives buyers smaller size homes, ranging from 1,295 -1,989 sq. ft, with minimal outside maintenance. This intimate setting of 72 homes is located just outside the gates of TRILOGY VINEYARDS, whose amenities are NOT available to BARCELONA Buyers! Barcelona has its own intimate clubhouse, with indoor/outdoor social spaces, bocce courts, spool, and BBQ area. Monthly HOA Fees are $238/month. Across the street from Barcelona is the new Los Medanos Community College, which will open in 2021.

KINDRED BALFOUR, the newest Shea Community, will have models available in Fall 2021. This “over 55” community of 86 single-story homes, is the newest community in Brentwood. It will consist of 5 models, ranging from 1448 – 2134 sq. ft. Like Barcelona, it will have its own clubhouse, spool, pickleball & bocce courts. Located across from the Brentwood Golf Club, and just outside the gates of Summerset #2, Kindred Balfour has open spaces and amazing Mt. Diablo views. Shea is currently surveying and grading the lots, installing the utilities & underground piping, and has an Interest List Available.
